Odaline Awarded the Tulane International Alumni Award for Exceptional Achievement

The Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Tulane Office of Alumni Relations have announced that Odaline de la Martínez has been chosen to receive the 2026 International Alumni Award for Exceptional Achievement.

Presented by the Tulane Alumni Association, this award recognises and honours alumni who live and/or work in international communities and who exemplify the highest standards of excellence and have distinguished themselves in their fields. It is among the highest honours bestowed by the Tulane Alumni

Association on one of its members.

Tulane has commended Odaline's outstanding contributions composing and conducting on stages around the world, as well as her visionary curation of eclectic programs, concerts and festivals.

Odaline de la Martínez joins a list of exemplary Tulane alumni who have previously received the Award, including Motez Bishara (B *95), Marcela Villareal de Panetta (NC ’67), Maria L. Gutierrez (B *99, G *03),

Stanley Motta (B '67) and Daniel Bausch (F * 94, PHTM *94).

The presentation of the award will take place at the 52nd annual Alumni Awards Gala on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Civic Theater in New Orleans.
