'Studies in Rhythm' Premiered in Germany

May 17th 2025 saw the German Premiere in Berlin of Studies in Rhythm for solo piano by the pianist Fidan Aghayeva-Edler as part of 'A Room Full of Voices', a 24-hour marathon of music performance of piano solos and piano and voice pieces by Female Composers.

The work was originally commissioned by Samantha Ege and premiered by her on December 1st, 2024 at the Barbican in London.
